Empire Cycling on the Rapha site
Aling with Tour of Somerville Empire participated in a slightly different “competition” on Memorial Day weekend doing a 6-man team ride that essentially panned out to be a 200k Team Time Trial from the Rapha house in the rugged New Paltz area. Roads featured, gravel and dirt road sections, long climbs and beautiful scenary. Rapha created a page on their site to commemorate the day. As the six Empire riders said, this is essentially what they would have done for training on this day anyway. Rapha does a great job of illustrating how much fun a hard day on the bike can be.
